قام كل من أنمار فتح الدين، 26 عاماً، وعبد الله مندو، وعمر مراد؛ 29 عاماً، بتأسيس (UTURN Entertainment) عام 2010 كقناة على (يوتيوب). وسرعان ما حققوا نجاحاً كبيراً بما يقدمونه من محتويات متنوعة تتسم بالسخرية الهادفة. وفي عام 2010 التقوا قسورة الخطيب، 46 عاماً، والذي استثمر 150 ألف دولار في الشركة. واستمروا إلى أن وقع خلاف بين الخطيب والمؤسسين، وهو ما دفعهم إلى بيع أسهمهم إلى الخطيب مقابل 2 مليون دولار 2014، وهو الآن يترأس الشركة الناشئة. وتستقطب المنصة 84 مليون زائر شهرياً ما يجعلها أكبر شبكة ترفيه عبر الإنترنت في الشرق الأوسط. ولقد امتد انتشار UTURN إلى منصات الإعلام الاجتماعية الأخرى. إلى جانب (يوتيوب)، فهي تقوم بنشر محتواها على (فيسبوك) و(تويتر) و(غوغل بلس) وغيرها من الوسائل. وفي نوفمبر/ تشرين الثاني من هذا العام، استثمرت (Leap Ventures) والتي تتخذ من بيروت مقراً لها 10 ملايين دولار في (UTURN).

قام عمر حمد، 27 عاماً، بتأسيس شركة (التكنولوجيا الخضراء) عام 2012، كمصدر بديل للطاقة لتقليل الاعتماد على النفط. وتقوم الشركة الناشئة بتصنيع الألواح الشمسية، وبيعها في المملكة العربية السعودية وبقية دول الخليج. وفي العام الماضي، افتتحت (GTek) مكتباً في السودان، حيث الطلب على الألواح الشمسية كبير، بسبب نقص الكهرباء. اللحيدان، حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس في التجارة من جامعة (سوينبرن للتكنولوجيا) في أستراليا.

حسين عطار، 26 عاماً، ومحمد الزهراني، 31 عاماً، أسسا (Sawerly) في عام 2013، بعد لقائهما في مسابقة لخطط الأعمال في جدة. وجاءت فكرة (Sawerly) من الزهراني الذي كان يدير وكالة إعلانية، وكان يجد صعوبة في العثور على المصورين. يقوم العملاء ومعظمهم من الشركات بنشر احتياجاتهم من جلسات التصوير على منصة ( Sawerly)، التي تملك شبكة من 1000 مصور. وفور الانتهاء من التصوير يقوم العملاء بتقييم المصور. وتقتطع (Sawerly) ماقيمته %10 من الأفراد و%20 من الشركات. تخرج المؤسسان في فبراير/ شباط عام 2014 من حاضنة المشروعات (Flat6Labs) في جدة، حيث طوروا خطة أعمالهم هناك. وفي يناير/ كانون الثاني 2015، استطاعوا جمع 227 ألف دولار من شركة (QB Co) الاستثمارية. حصل العطار على الماجستير في العلوم الإدارية في عام 2012 من جامعة (Waterloo) في كندا. وحصل الزهراني على الماجستير في إدارة الأعمال من جامعة (Bangalore) في عام 2013.
