وقال الدكتور القرني في تغريدة له بموقعه على التواصل الاجتماعي “توتير” ، “جزى الله خيرا خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز على اهتمامه ورعايته وكان آخر اتصال من طرفه قبل دقائق موجها بنقلي إلى الرياض”.
وكان الدكتور القرني تعرض لإطلاق نار في أحد ذراعيه أثناء إلقاء محاضرة له في الفلبين.
