صدر أمر بتعيين سعادة اللواء البحري الركن سعيد بن محمد الزهراني قائـداً للأسطــول الغربــي .
الجدير بالذكر أن اللواء سعيد أحد الكوادر العسكرية السعودية المتميزة، التي يشار لها بالبنان فكراً وخُلقاً وتواضعاً و مخلص لدينه ووطنه ومليكه وتاريخه الميداني حافل بالعطاء في ميادين الوطن .
وتدرج اللواء سعيد الزهراني في عدد من المناصب القيادية بالأسطول الغربي، كما عمل في وقت سابق مساعداً لقائد الأسطول الغربي .
وابو عبدالعزيز سعادة اللواء ركن سعيد محمد الزهراني من الضباط المميزين على مستوى القوات المسلحة تقلد عدة مناصب قيادية منها قائد لاحد الفرقاطات البحرية وعدد من الوحدات التابعة لقيادة القوات البحرية وقائد لمهمات وتدريبات مع عدد من قوات اجنبية وعربية وضع له بصمة تستحق الثقة الغالية من قادة هذه البلاد

مرجان 15 ينطلق في البحر الأحمر
ورحب قائد الأسطول الغربي اللواء البحري الركن سعيد بن محمد الزهراني، في كلمة افتتح بها التمرين، بالأشقاء المصريين في بلدهم الثاني المملكة، مشيدا بالعلاقات التي تجمع المملكة ومصر.
وبين أن التمرين وغيره من التمارين المستمرة بين الجانبين يأتي تفعيلا للعلاقات الوثيقة التي تربط البلدين الشقيقين، مؤكدا أن التمرين يهدف إلى تنمية المهارات واكتساب الخبرات للعمل بمفهوم بيئة عملياتية مشتركة وتعزيز التعاون في مراحل الإعداد والتخطيط والتنفيذ.
يذكر أن تمرين “مرجان 15” الذي يحظى بمتابعة من القيادة العليا في كلا البلدين، تنفذ فيه عدد من الفرضيات والتدريبات التي تحاكي ما يتم تنفيذه في مسرح العمليات الحقيقية في الحروب البحرية والتكتيكات البحرية المشتركة وتنفيذ رماية بالذخيرة الحية وحق ممارسة الزيارة والتفتيش للسفن، إلى جانب طرق الاقتحام وطرق الإنقاذ والإخلاء.
وتشارك وحدات البحرية السعودية بعدد من السفن والطائرات العمودية والزوارق السريعة ووحدات الأمن البحرية الخاصة، ومن الجانب المصري عدد من سفن القوات البحرية وغواصة ووحدات البحرية الخاصة.

قامت سفن القوات البحرية الملكية السعودية بعملية خاصة تم خلالها إجلاء منسوبي سفارة المملكة باليمن والقنصلية السعودية بعدن، وعدد من البعثات الدبلوماسية للدول الأخرى.
ونفد عملية الإجلاء صباح الأربعاء الماضي قوات من الأسطول الغربي (سفينتا جلالة الملك “الدمام” و”ينبع”) بمشاركة الطيران البحري وعناصر من وحدات الأمن الخاصة، وذلك في المياه المواجهة لميناء عدن، وبلغ عدد من تم إجلاؤهم 86 شخصاً.
وقد وصل صباح اليوم السبت إلى قاعدة الملك فيصل البحرية بالأسطول الغربي في جدة، الأشخاص الذين تم إجلاؤهم على متن سفيتني جلالة الملك “الدمام” و”ينبع”، وقد نُفذت العملية بكل احترافية دون وقوع أية إصابات أو أضرار.
وكان في استقبالهم قائد المنطقة الغربية اللواء الطيار الركن سعد بن علي القرني وقائد الأسطول الغربي اللواء البحري الركن سعيد بن محمد الزهراني ،وقنصل دولة الإمارات، وقنصل دولة قطر، وعدد من منسوبي وزارة الخارجية.

رعى قائد الأسطول الغربي بالقوات البحرية اللواء بحري ركن سعيد بن محمد الزهراني صباح أمس الأربعاء بمركز التدريب البحري بالأسطول الغربي حفل تخريج 781 طالبا لدورات تدريب الفرد الأساسي من مختلف التخصصات ومختلف الرتب الدفعة رقم 203 بحضور أركانات الأسطول ومنسوبيه وأولياء أمور الخريجين.
من جانبه، ألقى قائد مركز التدريب البحري اللواء بحري ركن عمر سعيد الغامدي كلمة قال فيها: باسمي وباسم زملائي منسوبي مركز التدريب البحري من مدنيين وعسكريين أتقدم بالشكر لقائد الأسطول الغربي اللواء بحري ركن سعيد الزهراني في حفل تخريج الدفعة 203 للفرد الأساسي والذين أكملوا تدريبهم بهذا الصرح التدريبي أحد صروح قواتنا البحرية مركز التدريب البحري وهم من مختلف التخصصات، حيث إن مركز التدريب البحري ساهم جنبا إلى جنب مع باقي المرافق التعليمية والأكاديمية في قواتنا البحرية بمد القوات البحرية بمهارات مختلفة من التخصصات ليكونوا عونا لزملائهم الذين سبقوهم في شرف الخدمة العسكرية.
وأضاف أبنائي الخريجين اليوم نحتفل بكم ونبارك تخرجكم فهنيئا لكم التخرجي ونحن إذ نهيب بكم أن تبذلوا قصارى جهدكم لتكون القوات البحرية في الصدارة دائما كما أوصيكم ونفسي بتقوى الله في السر والعلن وأن تطبقوا ماتعلمتموه بكل صدق وأمانة وإخلاص لهذا الوطن المعطاء الذي نتمتع فيه بفضل الله بنعمة الأمن والآمان في ظل حكومتنا الرشيدة.
بعدها ألقى الطالب البحري فواز يحيى المحوري كلمة نيابة عن زملائه الخريجين قال فيها: «أصالة عن نفسي ونيابة عن زملائي الخريجين أرحب بكم أجمل ترحيب لحضوركم وتشريفكم حفلنا هذا الذي حصدنا فيه ثمار الأيام التي مضت من الجهد والاجتهاد مع رجال بذلوا الغالي والنفيس في تعليمنا وتدريبنا حتى وصلنا إلى هذا المستوى من التأهيل واكتساب المهارات العسكرية لنكون لبنة صالحة في بناء صرح هذا الوطن.
وأضاف في هذه اللحظات ونحن نغادر صرحا شامخا أمضينا فيه أيامًا من أجمل الأيام مع أشخاص يدعون إلى تهذيب النفوس ومكارم الأخلاق ومن هذا الصرح نعاهد الله ثم نعاهدكم بأن نسعى جاهدين مخلصين لخدمة ديننا ثم مليكنا ووطننا الغالي في قلوبنا وأن نعمل بجد واجتهاد لخدمة قواتنا المسلحة بصفة عامة والقوات البحرية بصفة خاصة.
ثم بعد ذلك تقدم الطالب البحري خالد هادي الكبش العرض العسكري بعدها تم عرض اللوحات الاستعراضية وكانت اللوحة الأولى والتي تشكل «k.S.A « أما اللوحة الثانية والتي تشكل «R.S.N.F» القوات البحرية الملكية السعودية أما اللوحة الثالثة والتي تشكل «N.T.C» مركز التدريب البحري.
بعدها تقدم قائد كتيبة الطلبة العميد بحري سعد سالم العمري بأداء قسم الولاء والطاعة على الخريجين. ثم تم إعلان النتيجة العامة النهائية لدورة الفرد الأساسي للدفعة 203 حيث بلغ عدد الخريجين 781 طالبا والإعلان عن أسماء الطلبة المتفوقين وهم المركز الأول: الطالب بحري طلال عذنوب الحربي النسبة 91.81% بتقدير ممتاز – المركز الثاني: الطالب بحري عادل وصل الله الحربي بنسبة 91.76 % بتقدير ممتاز – المركز الثالث: الطالب بحري فهد عبدالرحمن طليحي 91.66 % بتقدير ممتاز – الحاصل على جائزة المشاة الطالب بحري خالد هادي الكبش.

بناء أول قاطرة بحرية بطول 30 مترا بميناء جدة الإسلامي
حفل التشغيل شهد حضور قائد الأسطول الغربي وعدداً من مسئولي الجهات الحكومية
حضر رئيس المؤسسة العامة للموانئ المهندس عبدالعزيز بن محمد التويجري أمس الثلاثاء 15/3/1436هـ حفل تدشين بناء أول قاطرة بحرية للسحب والقطر (القنفذة) يتم بناؤها في مجمع الملك فهد لبناء ولإصلاح السفن من قبل شركة الزامل للخدمات البحرية إحدى شركات مجموعة الزامل القابضة المستأجرة للمجمع وذلك لصالح القوات البحرية الملكية السعودية، ويبلغ طولها (30.3) متر وعرضها (10.3) متر وقوة دفع (3500) حصاناً، حيث يعد بناؤها الانطلاقة الأولى لبناء السفن والقطع البحرية الأخرى المتعددة الأغراض في مجمع الملك فهد لبناء وإصلاح السفن بميناء جدة الإسلامي.
كما تم الاحتفال بإعادة تشغيل الحوض العائم رقم (1) في المجمع بعد تعويمه، حيث كان قد تعرض لحادث غرق نجم عنه خروجه من الخدمة، وجرى إعادة إصلاحه وتجهيزه بمعدات وآليات وتجهيزات وفق أحدث المواصفات العالمية من قبل عدد من المهندسين والفنيين المتخصصين في هذا المجال بإشراف إدارة الميناء وهيئة التصنيف العالمية (اللويدز)، علماً بأن هذا الحوض يبلغ طولة (215) متراً وعرضه (33) متراً وحمولته الكلية (19.000) طن، وتم إصلاحه ودخوله إلى الخدمة خلال فترة وجيزة دون أن يحدث تأثيراً كبيراً على الأعمال والخدمات التي يقدمها المجمع لإصلاح وصيانة السفن والقطع البحرية
وقد حضر التدشين قائد الأسطول الغربي وعدد من مسئولي الجهات الحكومية والشركات المتعاقدة العاملة بالميناء، ويجسد هذا الإنجاز المتميز أحد ثمار الشراكة القائمة بين الموانئ والمستثمرين من شركات القطاع الخاص.
