أكد مدير عام الهيئة العامة للسياحة والتراث الوطني بمنطقة الباحة أمين عام مجلس التنمية السياحية زاهر بن محمد الشهري أن فرع الهيئة يشارك بستة حرفيين من منطقة الباحة بفعاليات سوق عكاظ في دورته الحادية عشرة، وذلك لعرض منتجاتهم الحرفية لزاور السوق والمشاركة ضمن فعالية “جرب حرفتي” المقامة لأول مره هذه السنة ، ومسابقة الحرفيين، مشيراً إلى أن الحرفيين سيتنافسون على 500 ألف ريال قيمة جائزة الإبداع والابتكار الحرفي والمقسمة على ستة مجالات.
ولفت الشهري إلى تنوع مشاركة حرفيو المنطقة ، حيث تشمل مجالات منها التطريز ،والنحت ،والرسم التراثي ،والأعمال الخشبية ،وعمل الأواني المنزلية القديمة ،والأعمال الحرفية الإبتكارية.
